Andrew Hanson MBE - Speaker (free)

The E-M Spectrum (and how we measure it) In a demo-rich talk, we'll visit the spectrum from lowest frequency balloon waves (when you manually move a charged balloon up and down!), to gamma rays and everything between. As I'm from the UK's National Measurement Institute I'll include tales of how our diverse staff measure and use it in metrology. I plan to travel nationwide, so demos will fit in a suitcase with videos of the more bulky demos, so a good AV system at your place is essential.
