I am currently a postgraduate student pursuing my studies in evolutionary genetics at the University of Edinburgh. I am also a retired ex-professional badminton player, having competed across Europe representing Scotland. I believe that science should not be confined to the laboratory or academic realm alone; I seek to bridge the gap between scientific research and the wider public.
