Go Fly Your Kite specialises in the construction and design of kites as a means of STEM engagement , learning and therapy for people of all ages. From providing an introduction into the history of the kite, their design, tracing images onto blank material kites with indelible multi coloured ink and construction to actually flying them, this exciting business venture brings fun and individual expression into an educational environment.
Now in our eighth year of business we deliver STEM Kite workshops to over 25,000 participants yearly. We run in person and virtual workshops in the STEM topics of flight, space and engineering. We discuss what flies? How do things fly? What do things that fly need? We discuss gravity, aerodynamics, simple experiments and short video clips in the STEM topics that reinforce the delivery of each subject. The theory into practice by Tracing, Colouring Building and Flying their kites!
