I believe there's a misconception that you need to be smart to enjoy science - I think that's horribly unjust. Anyone can appreciate the splendour of the way the world works around us, considering almost any concept can be broken down and taught in a way that's engaging, exciting and informative. The scientific mindset including critical thinking can be applied to all aspects of life and I'm passionate about getting people engaged with that. New Forest outside of term time.
Currently studying for a BsC in Biomedical Science. Final year student with a strong record I ran activities for kids at dinosaur exhibit that toured from the Natural History museum to Southampton's maritime museum in 2015. I am a Royal Voluntary Service volunteer currently providing well-being and listening services on the frailty ward of Lancaster Royal Infirmary. Eager to learn, always happy in speaking and public interaction roles. Have a great day!
