Help with searching

The search engine is very precise, so if you're not sure of the exact name of the science presenter you're looking for, try searching by keyword or region.

Don't forget that the more specific you are, the fewer results you'll generate.

Help with registering

Registering adds your details to the Sciencelive searchable database. After registering, your entry will be checked by our editor and should appear on the site within 2 working days.

Lastly, don't forget to update your entry whenever there are any changes by logging in and editing your contact details. These changes will then be submitted to our editor and should appear on the site within 2 working days.

Help with writing a review

Thank you for your interest in writing a review. We would like your comments and feedback to be heard so that we can help other event organisers - so to save you time and effort, please note that we cannot post:

  • single-word reviews or reviews longer than 500 words
  • remarks directed at other reviewers
  • content not specific to that science presenter
  • personal or critical remarks focusing solely on individuals
  • remarks that repeat criminal accusations
  • reviews that are not your own original work or have been previously published elsewhere
  • content which might be considered defamatory, blasphemous, racist or incendiary
  • profane or spiteful remarks
  • sexually explicit or sexually gratuitous comments
  • reviews submitted by, or on behalf of, companies or web sites
  • advertisements or promotional material, products or web sites
  • time-sensitive material (such as promotional tours, personal appearances, lectures etc)

Please resist the temptation to use the review feature as a chat room, a soapbox or to comment on other features visible on the page. If you'd like to tell us about a specific error on the site, or suggest improvements, please send us an e-mail to editor@sciencelive.net
