A Personal History of 62 Years of Bioengineering

A talk by Prof. Heinz Wolff. Best known as the presenter of The Great Egg Race and Young Scientist of the Year on television in the 1970's and 80's, he actually coined the term bioengineering in 1954 to describe the work he was doing at the interface of engineering and medicine, and founded and initially directed the Brunel Institute for Bioengineering.
