Reviews:
- Tracy Frackelton - Ian has visited our school several times and he is always a real hit with the children and the staff. He usually starts the day by amazing the children with a fantastic science assembly and then spends the rest of the day taking various classes on school grounds safaris! What Ian does not know about the creatures and plants that live in our school grounds is not worth knowing. The children are fascinated by him and by the stories he tells!
- Jim Smith - We had a Science day for all of years 7 & 8 at the start of the year to inspire... Ian brought the Magic of science to life. Our pupils were fully engaged and captivated (and so were the staff) by the passion and excitement Ian brought to our school.
There was something for everyone. Cheers Ian, see you next year.
- Mrs B Bowden Kinson Primary School - This was not just an ordinary Science show but a Science show packed full of outstanding demonstrations, awe-inspiring pictures and facts and fascinating specimens. The show had the children completely engaged and transfixed from start to finish! The show and the visits to class were not only fun, exciting and stimulating but informative too.
- Sarah Maull - Wow! What a fantastic show - entertaining and educational. The children were absolutely mesmerised by the whole thing and didn't want it to end! It got the children highly motivated to do more science during our science week. All the teachers in the school thought it was excellent too. Thank you Ian!
- Dave Evans (Sciience Co-ordinator) - Ian Dunne visited Cholsey Primary School (Oxon) on the Monday of our recent Science Week.
He was undoubtedly one of the best speakers, entertainers and experts we have had. The week was a great success, in no small part, due to Mr Dunne's input. His superb communication skills and wonderful demonstrations motivated and inspired the children for the rest of the week.
After giving two hour long talks, he visited every class in the school, telling stories and showing off some very interesting "objects" from his suitcase of tricks - the dinosaur poo went down very well indeed!
Everyone, including parents to whom he also gave an evening talk, thoroughly enjoyed every second and we would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.
We sincerely hope to book him again in two years time.
- Lydia Powell - Ian's "Science Magic.....Magic Science" Show is absolutely fantastic! Ian ran the show four times during our Science and Engineering Day event and some children made their parents take them back to see it more than once as they enjoyed it so much. The show is fascinating and extremely funny whilst being educational at the same time. Ian has the knack of engaging the children as soon as they walk through the door and holding their attention throughout the show. Thanks Ian for playing a big part in the success of the event overall.
- m. vingoe - I cannot recommend Ian too highly. He is always both highly amusing and informative. Consequently pupils of all ages love his shows. He is also highly adaptable, talking to any number of pupils in any venue without any fuss! And there's more....he's good value for money! If there is a complaint it could be said that he skates over the surface of the science covering only "the best bits" - the title of the show! I never find this a problem and book him time and time again both for science fairs and in-school events. He will be working here again in the near future as I have booked him for a parents evening event.
- Garth Jones - Ian's show is fantastic. The four hour long presentations on 'Science magic magic science' , presented over the course of the school day, were the talking point of the week for our KS3. Students encompassing the spectrum from MAGT to SEN were enthralled and their interest in science was greatly heightened. Ian really knows how to work a crowd. 5 stars.
